Has anyone tried The Insulator to hold a camera lens? I love the Camera Pod so much and pretty much use it daily for work. I think the Insulator could make a perfect companion to hold an additional lens. Anyone try it?

Actually, Mark has mentioned folks doing this… maybe it was @swbugas ? I've been giving it some thought, but the largest lens in my kit is a Sony 70-350, for which the HMG coozy seems like overkill. Maybe sometime I'll try it with my telephoto and my little night time astro lens, and put a little thinlight in for a divider.

Been doing this for years - using Outdoor Research water bottle insulators as lens pouches on hike/ski trips. This was before HMG's offerings which seem better.

I have been thinking the same exact thing! I recently switch to the helix polor pro maglock system though so it may make the lenses just too wide for me :-(
