Ultimid Season Ratings
Hey All, Just wondering what makes the Ultimid 1 and Mid 1 3-season tents when the similarly constructed Ultimid 2 and Ultimid 4 are 4-season tents.

backpacking with dogs.
I have a husky, boarder collie mix named Juno. We have done a few backpacking trips already, but want otoadd some more to our next couple of seasons. One we have on the radar is Big Horn mountains. Let me know if other fellow packers with 4 legged friends have had great trips they would recommend.

Any quick release solutions for attaching the Camera Pod?
Really like the camera pod, have used it in Iceland on 2 trips and was able to attached the provided caribeaners to the sternum strap on my camera backpack. Worked well, buckle held the pod on the strap so I could simply release the stermun strap to take off the pack and the pod would stay on the sternum strap. I now have…

What's a clean way of attaching accessory straps to the 4400 Southwest?
The new unbound 40 back pack has lots of daisy chain attachment points to hook an accessory strap on. Where do you all do it on a pack without the daisy chains that looks clean? This is mainly for foam pads in winter time but could be anything else too bulky to go inside - so the strap attachment should be fairly secure.

Here are some photos taken by my partner, Jason Griffith, of our time this past summer on the Ptarmigan Traverse. My 4400 Southwest was the ideal pack for this classic high-alpine traverse. Cheers, John Sharp, Bellevue, WA…

Add Pocket Closing
Hi folks, I am loving my Daybreak for travel, but I have a lot of smaller items (charger, wet wipes, headphones) that I like to store in my big and small outside pockets, but have had these fall out. Any suggestions on how to more securely close them? I tried some Velcro with sticky on one side but they didn’t last but a…

What Size Camera Pod?
Would love to hear what size Camera Pod you all use for your specific camera setups? Thinking this will be helpful for everyone! I currently have a large for my Nikon D750 with 24-70 lens. It fits pretty perfectly (I don't use a camera strap).

Packrafting footwear. Top suggestions?
The summer before last, my brother Ian and I covered about 100 miles via hiking and packrafts. Heavy packs, poor fitness on my end leading up to the trip, and some sketchy shoes led me to some mega blisters 15 miles in on the first day. I was using Altra lone peak running shoes, the first backpacking trip I had taken with…
