Hey guys, happy Monday!!

Question about washing your backpacks!

How do you wash your Hyperlite pack? I know doing it in the bath tub is probably the easiest way….but do you use a special kind of soap? How long do you soak it? Best way to dry it? Gimme all the deets!!

I’d love to wash mine before the crazy summer hiking begins! Start off nice and fresh :)

    Hey!

    I've tossed it in the tub and used tech wash. Not sure if it's totally necessary but I live in bear country and don't want to have any scents in my tent so I know tech wash will be scent-free.

    If you want to save some soap you can just make a tub with warm water and soak the pack for a couple minutes, then get a scrubby and start going to town. For the spots that need a little more umph you can just make up a small bowl/bucket of soapy water and use that to scrub it. Ideally the whole tub would be soapy but if you are trying to save a few bucks on tech wash this can help.

    For drying it I just left it outside, it's DCF so it dries super quick.

    I've done bathtub method as well as in the washing machine. The bathtub is definitely the safest way to go and lets you focus on the high-traffic areas!
