Just curious, what is everyone’s favorite backpacking spots around where you live? Both winter time and summer time? Gotta get out n about all year ya know?

    I'm from the UK and we love Scotland! We have the beautiful remote assynt area and Torridon! Some of the best winter routes in the country too with ridges like An Telleach and Liatach!

    For a quickie and your car secure: Try behind the Keystone, Colorado Meeting Center. You can drive there, safely park your car and climb up trail. Anything after June 30th, when snow melts and wildflowers bloom, any place honest, around Dillon, Silverthorne, Breckenridge, or Keystone. Get really good maps from area's forrest ranger offices.
