I just wanted to give a shout-out to Senchi! If you haven’t heard about them then you should check them out! They make fleece made out of an alpha direct material that keeps you warm but also help your body cool as you hike! I love the two that I own! Go check them out!!

    I second this! Been wearing my Merlin everyday of the CDT, it’s quickly become my favorite hiking layer (even more than a Melly, which is very controversial to say as a CDT hiker).

    I now own two, one I used on the entire PCT. Got my partner one and he wore it the whole PCT as well. Love that its a small business and they are so light and warm.
